Barossa Valley

Barossa Valley is home to Australia's most famous vineyards and is located 37 miles northeast of Adelaide city centre in South Australia. Barossa is famous for its week-long Barossa Vintage Festival and the Barossa Gourmet Weekend which is a three-day food, wine and art celebration held in the third weekend of August every year.

Blue Mountains

The Blue Mountains are a mountainous region and a mountain range located just 32 miles from Sydney in New South Wales. It is a popular destination for rock climbers, mountain bikers and hikers. The ‘Three Sisters’ are the most iconic view of the Blue Mountains. The climate varies with elevation. The Greater Blue Mountains Area was listed as a World Heritage Area by UNESCO.

Bruny Island

Off the south-eastern coast of Tasmania, is the Bruny Island. Geologically, Bruny Island is actually two land masses—North Bruny and South Bruny—joined by a long, narrow sandy isthmus. It is home to South Bruny National Park & Cape Bruny Lighthouse.

Cable Beach

Cable Beach is a 14 mile stretch of white sand beach on the eastern Indian Ocean and the surrounding suburb in Broome, Western Australia. Cable Beach is home to one of Australia's most famous nudist beaches and is also famous for Camel rides.

Daintree Rainforest

Daintree Rainforest is located near Queensland and is another natural wonder of Australia. Daintree Rainforest is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is twice as old as the Amazon rain forest. Daintree region combines tropical rainforest, white sandy beaches and fringing reefs. Driving is the way to navigate between places.

Fraser Island

Fraser Island is a 75-mile long beach and one of the longest in the world. Fraser Island is a heritage-listed island and is located along the south eastern coast in the Wide Bay–Burnett region, Queensland. The island has a mild climate. The Island is famous for the shipwreck stories of two white girls who was captured. The island can be reached through ferry service.

Gold Coast

Home to the world-famous Surfer's Paradise, the Gold Coast of Australia offers an endless stretch beach with outstanding surf breaks and is a major film production hub. The Gold Coast is a coastal city in the state of Queensland. It is approximately half covered by forests of various types. Gold Coast experiences a humid subtropical climate.

Great Barrier Reef

The Great Barrier Reef is one of the seven wonders of the natural world and is the world's largest coral reef system. The reef is located in the Coral Sea, off the coast of Queensland. The Great Barrier Reef supports an extraordinary diversity of life, including many vulnerable or endangered species. Due to its vast biodiversity, warm clear waters and accessibility from the tourist boats the reef is a very popular destination for scuba divers. The Gold Coast 600 is a car racing event held annually.

Kangaroo Island

Kangaroo Island is Australia's third-largest island off the coast of South Australia and is an incredible place to tour. It is a wildlife haven for Kangaroos, Koalas, Seals and Pelicans. The landscape is beautiful during sunset. Kangaroo Island is reliant on ferry from the mainland.

Maria Island

Maria Island is a mountainous island located in the Tasman Sea, off the east coast of Tasmania. Walking, bicycling, swimming, snorkelling, diving, bird watching, wildlife observation and relaxation are the main activities undertaken by tourist.

Pinnacles

The Pinnacles are limestone formations within Nambung National Park, near the town of Cervantes, Western Australia. The formations range from heights of short stumps to pillars reaching 3 metres high, the Pinnacles are ancient formations formed when the landscape was underwater. The best season to visit the Pinnacles is in the months of August to October.

Rottnest Island

Rottnest Island is located near the city of Perth, off the coast of Western Australia. It is a low lying island formed on a base of aeolianite limestone and is a protected nature reserve. Rottnest Island has a Mediterranean climate with warm dry summers and mild wet winters. Diving is a popular activity at Rottnest. The Rottnest Channel Swim is a long-distance swimming event from Cottesloe Beach to Rottnest Island. It is held each February. Ferries are the common mode of transport.

Sydney Opera House

Sydney Opera House is the iconic building of Australia. The Sydney Opera House opened in 1973 and has become Australia's top tourist attraction. The Sydney Opera House includes several performance venues. As one of the world's most iconic buildings, the Opera House, along with the harbour bridge, frequently features in establishing shots in film and television to represent Sydney and the Australian nation.

Taronga Zoo

Taronga Zoo is Australia’s largest zoo, located in Sydney, New South Wales in the suburb of Mosman on the shores of Sydney Harbour. Taronga cares for over 4000 animals of over 350 species. The Taronga Zoo ferry services are the preferred mode of travel to the zoo.

Twelve Apostles

A Drive to the Great ocean road takes you to the incredible Twelve Apostles. The Twelve Apostles is a collection of limestone stacks off the shore of Port Campbell National Park, by the Great Ocean Road in Victoria. To experience the coast in full, one must take a Great Ocean Walk.

Uluru

Uluru also known as Ayers Rock is a large sandstone rock formation in the southern part of the Northern Territory in central Australia. A UNESCO World Heritage site, Uluru is sacred to the indigenous people of the area. The park has a hot desert climate and receives rainfalls.

Whitsundays

The Whitsundays are a group of 75 islands off the coast of Queensland with beautiful white sandy beaches with turquoise water.

Wilpena Pound

Located in the Flinders Ranges of South Australia, it's a 267 miles drive from Adelaide. Wilpena Pound is a giant 80 Square kilometre amphitheatre of rock that is simply astounding. The area is part of the Adelaide Geosyncline and host the Flinders Ranges National Park. The pound is popular for bush walking.
